Used for mounting three 5K laser video projectors and an assortment of LED lights over a fifteen foot width. I suggest placing tripod verticals a couple feet in from the ends of the outside horizontal trusses for a VERY solid hang. These aren't your wimpy, wimpy, wimpy jack stands. Bought these for working with my Ford Edge and other cars. I didn't want to skimp out on jack stands as I want to trust what's holding up my vehicle while I'm under there. Price was good enough for me to step up to these 6-tons versus lower-rated models. Having that rating gives me peace of mind that these won't easily fail as I won't be very close to that rating with my vehicles. Build quality seems very nice and I just can't see these things giving out with the max 2 tons I work with. Of course, stay safe and use other safety precautions alongside these just in case!
