My husband is building us a large kitchen island, so I got this for him. He's in his 70s, and moving large sheets of plywood or the wood boards that he joins for the island top can be a heavy task. I didn't want him to hurt himself. He had a similar item, but it was not nearly as sturdy as this one. The tires on this item are more like the wheels on my garden utility cart. But one warning, the tires stink. They have that strong, petroleum rubber smell that will take over a room. I suspect that it will dissipate in time, but when my husband was going to put it together in the bedroom, I banished the poor man and his project to his garage workshop (which still has that smell 4 days later). The roller arrived a couple of days ago. With rain forecasted for overnight tonight I decided to put it together today and get rid of some mole hills. Took me about 45 minutes to put it together, primarily because I was doing it by myself and also I misread the instructions. Having someone to help would definitely make this quick work to assemble. A lot of reviewers are complaining about the fill plug. Strong and flexible. I used it as an inexpensive way to weatherproof my chicken run for the winter. It lets light in but you can’t actually see through it. A little wrinkled and creased coming off the roll, but you would expect that since it is a lot of plastic to put on a roll. This product is great for bending all types of metals not just metal roofing. I used mine for bending aluminum siding coil stock. I'm not a contractor, but if you are on a job and you have to bend some aluminum you don't have to pull your heavy brake out if you have a Malco ER3. i was trying to make due with a micromark shear, and it would not cut anything! I am able to use the shop fox shear now to cut thin metal and printed circuit board material. It struggles with thicker stock, and with a full 12" long .062" pcb board you would have to wail on that handle-the handle is a little too short for the proper force to be applied. But it is easily 2x better than the micromark.
