The result shows that the flange height of the inverted type Z section is critical to the thermal performance of the keel wall panel. This is because the keel’s flange is non-penetrating, which significantly improves the temperature variation rule of the inner surface of the wall panel. The keel’s influence on the internal temperature field is further diminished with the increase in the opposite offset distance of the steel keel. Therefore, the flange height of the inverted Z section should be greater than 100 mm to improve the thermal performance of the wall panel. The research results can provide a technical means to promote the practical application of RS-LSWP in future. The results also support the development of green housing in rural areas. The technology can help to save energy and reduce the environmental impact of housing in the long run. It can also reduce the cost of building construction and accelerate the economic development in rural areas.
